Today's technologies and raw materials make it possible to make many types of ropes. Depending on what you want to use it for, you can choose braided, twisted or knitted rope - from natural or synthetic materials. We can make any color combination from the available raw materials and technology. If required, we can work rubber or steel fiber, glitter lurex or reflective fiber into the product. The maximum load capacity depends largely on the conditions of the anchorage point and how much the rope is exposed to weather. The given values are valid only for the product manufactured by our company, in case of undamaged rope. We recommend that the rope is inspected before and after use to ensure its integrity, as the products lose their tensile strength due to aging and wear. When fastening, note that the load capacity of the rope at the knotting point can be reduced by up to 50%. With a re-attached rope, the load capacity remains higher.
Stretch values are to be understood at 30% load capacity. Regarding the elongation of the ropes, it is worth knowing that there is a greater change during the first load, then the fibers are arranged, later only minimal elongation can be expected.
We issue a work certificate for the load capacity of our ropes.
Our ropes are made of both natural and artificial fibers. For outdoors, we recommend synthetic fibers (polypropylene and polyester), which tolerate UV rays and the harmful effects of the weather, but for indoor use, natural materials are preferred.
Traditional rope is made of hemp, but the inventions of modern era include synthetic materials that can be used to make stronger, more durable products.
The strongest and longest natural fiber used since ancient times, and it is resistant to bacteria.
It is very similar in color to hemp, but it is a weaker fiber. Due to the additives used in the manufacture we do not recommend it for food but mainly for decorative purposes.
Rubber fiber: The rubber yarn we use is made from natural latex, which is extracted from rubber wood living in the tropics (Hevea brasiliensis), better known as rubber wood, and is made into a high quality rubber yarn in a complex process. We pay close attention to the quality of the rubber, so we store the received raw material for as short time as possible so that our rubber cords and rubber ropes retain their quality for a long time.
We recommend our synthetic materials for outdoor use. These materials contain a UV stabilizer that protects them from radiation that destroys their structure. We also pay special attention to their color fastness: we only work with materials from reliable sources. Our polypropylene and polyester materials are Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certified, which is a basic requirement for products for infants.
The Prisma® coating minimize the vulnerability of Dyneema® SK78 fibers and increases their service life. Dyneema® is a High Performance Fiber with excellent tensile strength and minimal elongation, the smallest of all artificial fibers. Due to its specific gravity it floats on the surface of the water. The performance and abrasion resistance of a braid made of a Prisma® shielded yarn with already impregnated surface is several times higher than that of a Dyneema® braid that has been subsequently coated. The protective coating on the yarn forms a water-repellent layer that ensures non-slip contact and also protects against UV rays. It does not absorb water. Steel wire is often replaced with a synthetic rope made with Dyneema®. They have similar elongation as steel. They are as strong as steel, but 10 times lighter.
A silky-gloss, floating, chemical resistant, well-knotted fiber with a relatively high elongation. Polypropylene is very sensitive to UV rays, so we take special care that the raw material we buy is UV stabilized and color fastened.
It is weather resistant and therefore the best choice for outdoor use. It has excellent abrasion resistance, low elongation compared to polypropylene and high tensile strength. It sinks in water.
Our ropes are made in single color or in any signal fiber variation.
Our polypropylene and polyester yarns are all UV stable and color fast.
If required, any type of rope can be made in any color combination.
